Group Visits & Tours
Visiting with a group? We'd love to have you! Please note that reservations are required for groups of ten or more.
Film Screenings
Seeing a film with friends? What a great idea! Group pricing of $12 per person is available for ten or more tickets to a single film screening.
Advance arrangements are required, and can be made by reaching us at (510) 642-1412 or bampfa@berkeley.edu.
Art Exhibitions
We offer group visits and guided exhibition tours (for select exhibitions, and contingent on guide availability) for school groups, college groups, and adult groups of six or more.
To avoid overcrowding, we do not schedule groups on the first Thursday of each month, BAMPFA’s Free First Thursdays.
Our galleries allow for thirty visitors in any one gallery at a time. If there are more than thirty people in your group, please be prepared to split into smaller groups of thirty or fewer to view the galleries. For guided tours, each smaller group must be accompanied by its own tour guide.
Please submit your reservation request at least two weeks before your visit. If you don’t receive a reply within three business days, please follow up with an email to sgvisits@berkeley.edu.
School and Youth Groups, K–12
Group visits for school and youth groups are available Wednesdays–Fridays, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. To avoid overcrowding, we do not schedule groups on the first Thursday of each month, BAMPFA’s Free First Thursdays.
Admissions
K-12 students, accompanying teachers, chaperones: free
Non-chaperoning adults: $5 each
Tour guide: $60 per guide (up to 30 students)
Adult Groups / Non-UC Berkeley and College Groups
Adult and college group visits may be scheduled Wednesdays through Sundays, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. To avoid overcrowding, we do not schedule groups on the first Thursday of each month, BAMPFA’s Free First Thursdays.
Admissions
Adult group: $9 per person
Non-UC Berkeley college group: $5 per person
Optional tour guide: $60 per guide (up to 30 visitors)
University of California, Berkeley Groups
Group visits for UC Berkeley classes and affiliated groups may be scheduled Wednesdays through Sundays, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. Classes that meet when the BAMPFA galleries are closed may be accommodated, depending on staff availability.
