BAMPFA is Bartable! We're located just one block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Go to bart.gov for train information and schedules.

BAMPFA is also easily accessible via several AC Transit bus lines, including the 6, 7, 18, 36, 51B, 52, 65, 67, 79, 88 and F. For route maps and schedules, go to actransit.org.

Parking

Two- and four-hour metered street parking is available in downtown Berkeley and is payable by credit or debit card. Nearby paid parking garages include the Allston Way Parking Garage (between Shattuck and Milvia), the Oxford Parking Garage (on Kittredge west of Oxford), and the Center Street Garage (at 2025 Center Street, accessible from Center or Addison Streets).

Bicycle

Channing Way and Milvia Street are Bicycle Boulevards and Oxford Street offers a dedicated bicycle lane. Bicycle racks are located on Addison Street at the rear of the building and on level 1A of the Center Street Garage.

Visiting from Out of Town

BAMPFA's preferred hotel partner is the Hotel Shattuck Plaza, a historic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Berkeley, just two blocks from the museum. Make a reservation.
